Let’s start off with that bang 💥

October starts off with a solar eclipse in Libra. Solar eclipses are a great time to start new things or it is a time for new info to be revealed. Things will come to light so it can also represent new information for you. It may be stuff that has been happening under wraps and you are just now finding out. Solar eclipses are when the moon passes between the Earth and Sun. If you read my last newsletter, I talked about the lunar eclipse that happened at that time. I always describe eclipses as a time where the sun & moon are not “themselves.” Eclipses can make the sun & moon strength pretty cloudy. The lunar eclipse gave an opportunity to release and let go of what doesn’t serve you and the solar eclipse is giving the opportunity for you to start something new!

Pluto.

The Pluto Phenomenon is basically that it’s in retrograde and has moved back into Capricorn. This is significant because Pluto's return to Capricorn brings a review of structural issues in society, related to government, authority, and money. Pluto brings a focus in power and leaders and during this retrograde, there’s an opportunity for reassessment of what was left unfinished when Pluto was initially in Capricorn. Pluto entered Capricorn back in 2008. Do you know what happened in 2008? The crash!!! Since then, our main focus in the USA has been money, investments, businesses, etc. One thing I also noticed when Pluto retrograde went back into Capricorn, was an increase in school shootings. Yes, this is Pluto reminding us of the importance to address gun laws and to question the leaders of this country.

Once Pluto goes direct and moves back into Aquarius, we can expect to see a collective shift towards innovation, technological advancements, and radical change. Pluto is transformative and represents the death and rebirth. Pluto moving away from Capricorn represents the destruction of corrupt leaders and businesses. Whatever corruption happening in this era is being broken down in a catastrophic away (think about the diddy situation.) Pluto in Aquarius will resume advancements in technology, AI and medicine. The focus will shift from individual power structures (Capricorn) to collective empowerment and futuristic developments (Aquarius). This transition can feel like huge difference with Pluto pushing us to embrace transformative change.

Full Moon in Aries 10/17

The full moon in Aries takes place on October 17th and it is called the hunter’s moon. The moon is particularly bright at night during this time. This moon in Aries is squaring pluto and mars. This moon is channeling aggression, passion, and transformation. We can possibly expect dealing with people with angry emotions. This moon is stirring up a fiery side! If you are taking your crystals out to bathe in the moonlight, be mindful of the energy it carries. It is a great time to infuse your crystals with passion and leadership if that is what you need. But if you’re already aligned with Mars energy, it might be best to sit this one out and take a breather.

Scorpio Season

With the Pluto Phenomenon I just discussed, we are also adding Scorpio Szn in the mix!! Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, God of the Underworld. The veil is thin during Scorpio, perfect for spooky szn! Scorpio represents transformation, like a phoenix. Scorpio is a creator, but can also destroy. They are not afraid to remove what doesn’t work for them in their lives. Scorpios are all-or-nothing type of people. They represent an intensity that is so deep, a level that not many people can reach. With Mercury entering Scorpio on the 13th, the full moon in Aries on the 17th, and Scorpio Szn on the 22nd, we are going intense spooky mode. Aries is ruled by Mars and well, Scorpio’s traditional ruler is Mars. Aries and Scorpio share a similar energy because they both can be represented by Mars. Scorpio may be a water sign, but it is the fiery one of the water signs! So we are jumping head first in the martian energy this October, which is on brand since Aries rules the head! 😆 We can expect an intense, emotional, impulsive, bold energy this month.
